Rappahannock River Retriever Club's goal is for each of us to be able to go to field and marsh with trained retrievers. We get together with friendly people who share common interests and desires to preserve our hunting retrievers for future generations. We are a fast-growing retriever club serving Northern Virginia, the Shenandoah Valley, eastern West Virginia, DC, Maryland, and southern Pennsylvania. Our organized training sessions are typically conducted on the weekends and then on monthly basis, meeting the first Sunday of the month for the months of September through February, and the first Saturday of the month for the months of March through August. The club also hosts AKC, HRC Hunting Tests and/or NAHRA Field Tests every year.
Individuals interested in joining Rappahannock River Retriever Club are encouraged to first attend one of the training sessions to meet club members. See Training Days for more information.
